Hello
We are spending too much money! Watching Suze Orman on Oprah today really touched home, America is spending too much money. We indeed want the best of everything or pretty close to it. Is that brand new car an extension of you? Hope not! We have lost our way about money, which includes me.
I love to spend money, even money I don't have. Sometimes I feel like an addict, I have to buy something everyday. Heaven help me! I do have weakness and managing money is one of them. I really never prayed about it, because I never saw it a big problem. My husband has told me numerous times that I had a problem, but he might as well been talking to the wall. Thank God he is very good at saving; he could squeeze a dollar until the eagle holler.
I learned on Oprah that IRA’S and 4OK’S are protected against bankruptcy. Also don’t be a lump sum investor, and do extensive homework on mutual funds. Oprah teaches a web class on saving the earth, you can see that she loves life too. Oprah is a millionaire and she seems concerned about money. If I were Oprah I wouldn’t care about saving money, I would just make sure I don’t run out. Suze has a book out titled, “Woman and Money” which I’m going to Oprah .com to read.
Loving life,

TO MY GIRLS....
To my girls...
by Angela Wright
To my mom, you have been the perfect role model to me,
not because of how you live your life now,
but because of all that you strivied to be.
I know that I don’t tell you often
how much I appreciate you
but from the bottom of my heart
I honestly do love you.
To my best friend/cousin Nee-Nee
where would I be without you
every obstacle I have ever been through
I went through it with you.
There’s no greater love than the love
I have for you.
To my little cousin Tootsie,
my ace boom coon
my delightful cousin
a Bonnie and Bonnie
when you combine us two.
Just so you know,
there’s nothing I won’t do for you.
My baby cousin Kia,
how we’ve grown apart
the decisions I’ve seen you make
has torn me apart.
But I know you have that Savage blood in you
so you’ll make it through
I just want you to know
your big cousin is praying for you.
Londa B
I know you think that what you did for me
went unappreciated
but what you don’t know
is that I’m eternally grateful.
I can honestly thank you.
My big cousin Trina,
You’ve taught me so much
without teaching
you taught me how to look at my life
and from that I know that I have to keep reaching
for goals that seem unattainable
for goals that don’t seem near,
and with that extra strength
there is not one thing that I fear.
Tracy, I’m convinced you’re an angel in disguise
your struggles have taught me so much,
through you
I’ve learned to be wise.
The funny thing is,
I would love to be just like you
you are a powerful woman of God
and that’s the honest to God truth.
To my best friend Minnie,
girl you are my back bone,
when I get so weak
I can depend on you to make me strong.
To all my girls,
Y’all have shaped my life
in ways you will never know
and I am called to be used by God,
I want all of you to know
that I have taken a piece of each and every one of you
with me on my journey
and that extra sense of protection
will make sure nothing will harm me.
~God Bless

EXHAUSTED STUDENTS ?
Calling all exhausted students!
Hello, all you exhausted students; do you know your exhaustion is not an excuse to quit. It is a sign that progress is being made. Yes, I’m exhausted too, and I'm no spring chicken. Continuous effort can be tiring without a doubt, and yet the rewards of that effort are great. Though effort will make you dog-tired, the lack of effort is far worse and eventually much more tiring. The exhaustion that comes from honest, priceless effort will quickly be soothed by a rest. The exhaustion that comes from useless drifting knows no such relief. Rest when exhausted! Refresh and renew yourself, your body, your mind, your spirit. Then get back to work. The effort is easier said than done, but it will make it worthwhile. Focus on the goal and move gradually toward it. Keep going until the job is done and the goal is accomplished. Our weariness is evidence that we are already paying the price. So lets stick around to reap the rewards. We can do it !

GOD IS GOOD
Hi
Busy, busy, all ways busy! I just had to slow down today and think about my life. God is so good to me, to us all ! Do you realize that everyday when we awake is a blessing, somebody didn't get up today. Not saying that's a curse or something bad, but it can also be a blessing. The thought of living with the Lord in paradise is wonderful, no worries, no pain, and no more satan. Blessings come in all sorts of ways, I 'm just glad to be a blessing to anyone. I might not have a lot of money, or even be the smartest person, but I do have God and he has me! That's more than enough for me, because I don't store my treasures on this earthly plain, but on the things of God!
God is good,
Angela

HAPPY EASTER
Happy Easter to Everyone!
I had a wonderful day! My family and I attended church services today and heard a powerful message.
Why Jesus wept?
He wept because of unbelievers, not only at that time, but up too this very day. Lazarus had died and Mary and Martha felt that only if Jesus would have been there, he wouldn't have died. Four days passed and Jesus heard the same thing again. They begin to wept and so did Jesus, not because of Lazarus death, but they didn't believe in him. They lived with him, seen him perform miracles, and feed thousands, which no man could do. They felled to remember that Jesus said Lazarus was only sleeping. But, after four days, the decaying body was stinking, and it is hard to believe that he would live after four days. Jesus, all powerful said, “Lazarus come forth”, and he did rags and all. Who wouldn’t love a God like that ?
Happy Easter and I Love you all!

I AM MY BROTHERS KEEPER
Hi all,
I travel back and forth exit 16 everyday, and see a handful of men and woman holding signs,” will work for food". Can't tolerate the thought of knowing someone is hungry, so I have stopped a couple times and given them food from a nearby restaurant, . It's heart breaking to know that some of these people are really hungry and homeless and it’s not just a gimmick. I feel that the City of Valdosta need to act on this issue instead of running them away.Find them a job or send them to a shelter. One guy seen the sheriff coming up the road and he took off running. Why, In this rich country can't we help the homeless? I know that some people abuse the system ,but not everyone is like that.
What moved me last month-a little elderly lady that always wear a colorful long scarf on her head-I think that's her religion-anyway, It was pouring down rain and she was cramped under a benched shaking singing or chanting something. I stopped at a gas station and called the police. Why? She needed help! Later, I found that they treated her for pneumonia, dehydration and hypertension. She is currently living in a nursing home and doing okay. I feel that I am my brother keeper, we never know what state of mind we may have in our old age- I didn’t know that woman, but I love her, because she is my sister in the Lord.

ABORTION RIGHTS
Hi ,
- Angela
I want to talk about abortion rights today! There are pro-choice and pro-life abortion groups, which one is right? Whether it’s right or wrong, a woman choice to have an abortion is one to make on her own and it’s not up to outsiders. I agree with pro-life, I believe that every life is precious; we don’t give life, so why take it. To become pregnant and then kill an innocent soul is heartbreaking and devastating. There are reasons why woman go this ordeal and it should be respected no matter what the reason. I’m glad there are pro-life groups for those women that don’t have knowledge about abortions. Maybe through educating these woman will save babies lives.

FREEDOM COST
Hello,
Yesterday, I was watching the news, to my surprise 3,697 American soldiers have lost there lives for our freedom. Never realized freedom cost so much, my prayers go out to the families of these awesome courageous soldiers.
My prayer:
We bless you, Lord, our sovereign King, God of all that is, and all that is to come. Mighty Father, which sits on the throne of grace, we know that we are not worthy, but forgive us of our disgrace (sins). These soldiers have given their lives, so we could be free, so I beseech you God- to let it be. These families’ hearts are heavy, in so much excruciating pain, only you can fill that void, until time allows it to heal again. Lord, watch over the remaining soldiers, that continue in this fight, bless them all to come home waving our American flag, declaring the battle is over, and we have victory at last!
Amen
My prayers are ever before the Lord!

I AM A STRONG WOMAN
I Am A Strong Woman
I’m a strong woman,
But not by chance
Life has taught me, to boldly stand.
Stand victorious, stand for morals
Stand when situations seem so DARN hard.
I'm a strong woman,
But not by chance
Don’t sit on my butt and wait on a man.
Wasn’t born, with a silver spoon in my mouth,
But with a brain to use, and not to doubt.
I'm a strong woman,
But not by chance
Not here to convince you,
But declaring my stand.
WROTE THIS TO SAY, I’M STRONG NO MATTER WHAT HAND IS DEALT TO ME! I’M UNREMOVABLE, AND DON’T FEAR WHAT MAN CAN DO TO ME! IGNORANCE COMES IN MANY FORMS AND THAT’S FROM ME!

I NEED A VACATION
Hello World,
I need a vacation from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Mother did tell me to stay a child as long as I could and not to grow up so fast. I know what she means now! I start my day at 5:30 am cooking breakfast, waking the children, and making sure they catch the bus at 7:00am. After they leave I would feed the dog, put on a load of clothes and take something out for dinner .Then I would get online and work on any assignments until I go to work and school. Working 8 hours a day, six days a week, school 15 hours plus two online classes’ takes a toll on my mind and body. When I get home in the evening, I’ll take a shower and start dinner. While dinner cooking I’ll fold clothes, sweep, mop, and water flowers. I’ll make sure the children do they chores and if they need help with assignments, which is rare, I’ll help.
When daddy arrives home he will play and joke with the children, that is when he’ll take off his dirty shoes and leave them in the living room floor. I usually get angry and go into my bedroom and study until midnight. This ritual is repeated every week day. Boy- I’m tired just thinking about it! I need a vacation!

A Woman Work Is Never Done
Hi,
I have had a busy weekend, and it seems there is no rest for the weary. A man works from sun to sun, but a woman’s work is never done. My husband Jim, has been sick with a toothache all weekend. Can you imagine having another child? A sick child at that, touching nerves you didn’t think you had. My heart went out to him, as I waited on him hand and foot. Jim woke up Saturday morning looking like the elephant man; his face was engorged and disfigured on one side. Jamal, our son rolled on the floor laughing, but our daughter was frightened, concerned and started to cry. I assured her daddy would be okay and he will see the dentist Monday morning. Jamal started laughing at his sister for crying and his dad recent deformity. I had a long conversation with him and made him apologized to both of them. I will never know why men don’t like going to the doctor, but I know one guy that will be going to the dentist in the morning. This could have been prevented, by refilling it when the filling first came out.
